The BITA binocular enhancers are pressure fitted into both of the custom drilled carriers. The BITA scopes should be pushed as close to the eyelashes without touching to increase the field of view. The carriers are normally drilled above the pupil so that the patient can see their regular view and a singular magnified view without confusion. Mounting above the central vision takes advantage of and maximizes the use of peripheral vision.
